Dome A is the summit of the Antarctic Plateau,an excellent astronomical observations site.Two of Three Antarctic Survey Telescopes(AST3)had been unattended operating on Dome A.The Antarctic telescopes,energy modules and other instruments were installed in about 20 polar days when the temperature was above-40℃.The author had managed to assemble and align the telescopes respectively in 2012 and 2015.Generally,optical alignment of astronomical telescopes requires optical axis and polar axis adjustment.Optical axis adjustment usually refers to microscope alignment telescope or interferometer.Accurate polar axis adjustment always requires several reference stars.The optical axis adjustments of Antarctic telescopes are in common with other telescopes except for the time pressure and manpower shortage.Moreover,the image quality can only be unattended verified when the sun set.If we failed the optical axis alignment,it is impossible to make the corrections within 1 year.The polar axis adjustments of Antarctic telescope are complicated for lacking of reference stars.Explorations for polar alignment of Antarctic telescopes have been carried out when building the AST3.We presented a daytime alignment plan of an accuracy of about 3arcmin without observation of reference stars,and a fast drift alignment method,which aims at precisely polar alignment by observing one transiting star in polar days and has been in-situ tested by the author in Jan.2015.
