Background Cardiovascular disease is one of the leading causes of death worldwide.Clopidogrel,as a cornerstone of oral antiplatelet treatment,is widely used along with aspirin in the secondary prevention of ischemic heart disease.However,about 4％ to 30％ of patients do not display adequate antiplatelet response due to the wide inter-individual variability in the inhibitory effect of clopidogrel on platelet aggregation.
