二维过渡族金属硫化物是继石墨烯后新兴的类石墨烯结构的新型二维半导体。单层过渡族金属硫化物拥有可见光范围内的直接带隙，空间结构反演不对称和强自旋轨道耦合等不同于石墨烯的特殊性质。这些特性使单层过渡族金属硫化物成为一种潜在的可利用电子自旋及能谷自由度进行量子调控的平台。
