Design of Optical System in Solar Blind UV and Study on the Detection Distance

  Ultraviolet ( UV) detection theory and configuration of UV detection system were introduced.The experiment system was designed and established.The system worded at 240~ 280 nm has achieved the focal length of 200 mm and F number of 6.The UV image was converted to visible image at the CCD through the relay system.The method and model are based on the UV radiation performance of typical target and atmospheric transmission performance of UV radiation,integrated the performance parameters of UV warning system,applied the formula of image plane irradiance and imaging.The detection distance of UV warning system for typical target at different angles was computed and invalidated by instance.The analysis and conclusion showed that the detectable distance for UV warning system could be increased by changing the performance parameters of detector,such as CCD minimum luminous density,image intensifiers gain,optical systems transmittance and relative aperture.
