  The substrate integrated waveguide(SIW) technique enables that complete circuit including planar circuitry, transitions, and other kinds of waveguides are fabricated in planar form using a standard printed circuit board or other planar processing techniques.This paper presents a very novel design of X-band circulator with a triangle ferrite post in substrate integrated waveguide technology.By means of our proposed technique, insertion losses lower than 0.45dB with isolation higher than 20dB,return loss higher than 20dB are obtained over the range 8-12GHz and the devices size is 12mm × 12mm × 0.635mm, which represent a very promising candidate for the development of circuits and components in the microwave and millimeter-wave region.
