　　Background Gut microbiota has been proposed to play a pivotal role in the development of type 2 diabetes (T2D),obesity and other metabolic diseases.T2D patients showed a higher abundance of opportunistic pathogens such as Betaproteobacteria and Desulfovibrio sp.etc but lower abundance of butyrate-producing bacteria such as Faecalibacterium prausnitzii.
