Based on the Porous Media Theory(PMT)presented by de Boer,a mathematical model of a fluid-saturated porous elastic half-plane is established firstly,in which,the surface of half-plane is subjected to a moving cyclic loading.In order to study the dynamic response of the half-plane,two methods are introduced in the paper.One is an analytic method,and an analytic solution of problem is deduced by using the method of separation of variables and four potential functions.The other is a numerical method,namely,the differential quadrature method(DQM).The two obtained results are compared with each other,it can be seen that the analytical results are consistent with the numerical results.Finally,the dynamic characteristics of a fluid-saturated porous elastic half-plane subjected to a moving periodic loading are studied,and the effects of material parameters are considered in detail.
