Propagation of an XUV/X-ray radiation in a medium with the modulated resonant transition is studied.We start with a simple model of the two-level systems with the space-time-dependent transition frequency and/or decay rate and derive an analytical solution,describing a transformation of the XUV/Xray radiation during its propagation.
