Objective To detect and compare Fas ligand(fasl)expression in periodontal ligament stem cells(PDLSCs)from deciduous teeth undergoing physiological resorption and permanent teeth.Methods PDLSCs were obtained from deciduous teeth undergoing physiological resorption which was classified into three groups,that's unabsorbed(un),moderate(m)and severe(s).PDLSCs from permanent teeth(P)were also acquirrred.Fasl expression from PDLSCs was determined by western blot assay.Results Fasl was expressed from all the grous with the M group much lower than other groups.Conclusion The fasl expression of PDLSCSs from different stages of physioilogically resrpted deciduous teeth and permanent teeth was different,which may have a role in the regulation of root resorption.
