Multifunctional nanoparticles have great promising for multimodal cancer imaging and effective therapy.Inthis work,we synthesized a multifunctional theranostic platform(GNR@SiO2@C-dots) by incorporating goldnanorods(GNRs) and C-dots into silica,which was developed for noninvasive near-infrared fluorescenceand photoacoustic(PA) imaging-guided synergistic photothermal/photodynamic therapy(PTT/PDT) withimproved efficacy.
