　　To introduce multimedia technology in to basketball teaching of regular institutions of higher learning will trigger comprehensive changes in ideas, content, method, theory and structure of teaching of the basketball teaching.Appliance of the multimedia technology in basketball teaching can show college basketball teaching knowledge completely and systematically, and highlight the key and the difficulty, concentrate experience and talents of good PE teachers to arouses the university students subjective initiative furthest and enhance teaching quality.The passage has discussed the positive effect of appliance of the multimedia technology in basketball teaching, Analyzes the making process of multimedia courseware and introduced the use effect of multi-media courseware
