Phosphate-based glasses have generated considerable interest due to their potential to be used as active materials for resorbable implants and for hard and soft tissue engineering applications [1].Their ability to dissolve completely in aqueous media and the possibility to control their degradation rates through tailoring the glass composition is one of their unique properties.
