Generally speaking, tensile plastic deformation in semi-crystalline polymers is understood as a result of stretching two interpenetrated networks of crystalline skeleton and entangled amorphous phase.Consequence of this consideration is a homogenous strain distribution in the system,at least at the beginning of deformation.Experimental evidences for such behavior can be found in literature, such as the finding of critical strain law determining uniaxial deformation of semi-crystalline polymers [1-4].
