The durability of reinforced concrete is becoming a critical problem due to the vulnerability of embedded reinforcing steel induced by the corrosion of reinforcing steel [l].It is well known that the corrosion of the reinforcing steel in the concrete is strongly rclated to the loss of covcr concrete.the steel bar diameter and concentration of chloride ions [2,3].
