The control level of iron ore agglomeration in China can not be reconciled with the development of Chinese iron and steel industry.Computer technology provides an effective way to solve the problems of big lag time,parameter detection difficulties and control complexity.Therefore.the applications of mathematical model and expert system in sintering process control,grate-kiln process control and iron ore proportioning optimization are presented in this paper.Control of sinter composition,control of sintering process,control of grate-kiln pellet induration process and techno-economic system for iron ore proportioning are discussed.
