Gibberellin (GA) is one of the most important phytohormones that involved in plant development.DELLA proteins have been characterized as negative regulators of GA signaling in many plants.In this study,the full length cDNA sequences of three DELLA genes (named as AaDELLA1,AaDELLA2 and AaDELLA3) were cloned from Artemisia annua L,which was well known as produce anti-malaria metabolite artemisinin.
