A 2-D Electron Cyclotron Emission Imaging (ECEI) system has been developed for the measurements of electron temperature fluctuation on the HL-2A tokamak. This system is based on quasi-optical technique, microstrip antenna array technique and super-heterodyne receiver technique. It has the features of wide working frequency and high temporal-spatial resolutions, making it a great tool to study core and edge plasma physics, such as plasma confinement, electron heat transport, MHD physics and so on.
