　　Wang Pu received the M.S.degree in material science from Shandong University,Jinan,Shandong,China,in 1991 and the Ph.D.degree in laser physics from Macquarie University,Sydney,Australia,in 1999,respectively.From 2000 to 2001,he was with Nortel Networks (Photonics),Australia,developing novel fiber optical components.
