　　With the development of zeolite composites, more and more researchers have found zeolite composites have different catalytic performance in hydrocracking and FCC processes compared with the corresponding physical zeolite mixtures.Here, a new method was reported for synthesizing Y-β zeolite composites and investigating its hydrocracking performance using vacuum gas oil (VGO) as feedstock.The result showed the Y-β zeolite composites as a hydrocracking catalyst for VGO could increase the heavy naphtha yield by 5.61wt% and the jet fuel yield by 11.52wt%, compared with the corresponding physical mixture of Y and β zeolites.The studies about Y-β zeolite composites indicate this new zeolite composites possessing different characterization from Y and β zeolites have potential application in catalysis.Meanwhile, the Y-β zeolite composites attract more and more interest.
