Electromagnetic cloaking[1]is a technique that enables an object to be rendered invisible when subjected to a specific frequency range of electromagnetic waves,by wrapping it with a dielectric material.Topology optimization is a useful and effective approach for the structural design of the dielectric material that can realize an electromagnetic cloak,as widely reported in the literature[2,3].However,the optimized configurations obtained through topology optimization usually realize cloaking only in the vicinity of the frequency considered in the optimization procedure.Robust optimization is an effective approach to mitigate this problem,but has previously been integrated with topology optimization mainly for structural mechanics problems[4].
