Challenging of EPM in Economic Mass Production, Nano-Technology and Environment Protection

History of EPM is described and several functions utilized in EPM are reviewed. Main activities of EPM are summarized in the view point of the various contributions in economic mass productions , nano-technology and environmental protection. Future trend and prosperity of EPM are discussed and a new concept of "Nature-Guided Materials processing" is proposed to be introduced into EPM.
