　　Epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT) and mesenchymal-epithelial transition (MET) are two crucial steps during tumor metastasis.Some evidences demonstrate chemotherapy could induce epithelial-mesenchymal transition,which in turn mediates cancer cells drug resistance.In our experiment,we found A549 serially undergo EMT-MET change after treatment of 5-FU in vitro.We found that part of A549 cells died 48 hrs after treatment with 5-FU.Cells survive treatment showed characteristics of mesenchymal cells.
