　　OBJECTIVE To investigate the interactions be tween diltiazem and two kinds of serotonin receptors (5-HT1A,5-HT2A/2C) and examine the c-fos expression of serotonergic neu rons in DRN in pentobarbital treated rats.METHODS Sleep parameters were examined by EEG and EMG recording and anal ysis in freely moving rats.C-fos expression in DRN was exam ined with the method of immunohistochemistry.
