　　Since the “open door” policy was adopted in 1978,China has achieved a great development of economy.This development led to arapid industrialization and urbanization in coastal China.The urbanization process of coastal China has been dominated by rural-urban migration and the growth of existing cities.This means it is crucial to examine the changes in rural areas where have provided the most of rural-urban migration in coastal China.
