The phenomenon of secondary salinization is more serious in Northwest China, especially in Xinjiang region.Klebsiella oxytoca Rs-5 has been screened from kaline soil in Xinjiang,which could effectively relieve the salt stress and promote the growth of plants[1].However, Klebsiella oxytoca Rs-5 is susceptible to a variety of soil factors, such as temperature, humidity, pH, micropopulation and so on.Enclosure of the Klebsiella oxytoca Rs-5 in biodegradable microencapsules may protect the cells inoculated into soil, and enable the control of cells release that confer long-term fertilizing effects[2,3].
