Melanoma,which is easy to metastasize distally,is the most aggressive of all human skin cancers and leads to approximately 80%of skin cancer mortalities[1].In most cases,the high mortality of melanoma is attributed to its high rate of metastases.Metapristone is the most predominant metabolite of mifepristone after administration.Our previous study showed that metapristone has the ability of cancer metastasis chemoprevention[2].This study investigated the effect of metapristone on human cell line A375.We found that metapristone decreases migration of A375 cells in a dose-dependent manner.
