Surface water is a vital resource for local development, ecological sustainability, and recycling of heavy metal pollutants in water can lead to further risks to human health and aqueous ecosystems.Hence the work has been undertaken to get a detailed account of the seasonal variations of total dissolved trace metals in the context of water quality characteristics in the coastal regions of Indian Sundarban mangrove wetland (a UNESCO World Heritage Site) using a graphite furnace atomic absorption spectrophotometer.
