Aim: To investigate the cardioprotective effects of rosa rugosa flavoniods(RRF)on myocardial ischemia reperfusion injury(MIRI)in mice and its related mechanisms.Methods: After intragastric administration of Fufangdanshen Dropping Pill(FFDS,166 mg/kg·d-1,positive drug control)or RRF(600 mg/kg·d-1)for 7 days,mice received 45 min of ischemia by complete ligation of the left ascending descending(LAD)artery coronary,and were then reperfused for 3 h.The infarct size,myocardial morphology,the activity of myocardial enzymes as well as mRNA expression levels of the genes associated with inflammation and apoptosis were evaluated after 3 h of reperfusion.
