　　Recent advances have implicated an important role of macrophages in atherosclerotic plaque development, progression and destabilization.Development of macrophage targeted high-density lipoprotein (HDL)-mimicking nanoparticle to carry statin for exploition of statin's "pleiotropic"lipid-lowering independent effects, combining with the vascular protective effects of HDL can be attractive for atherosclerosis.
