Bactrocera dorsalis is an important fruit and vegetable pest in China. However, little research has been reported in its increasing insecticide resistance mechanism. In this paper, totally 73 glutathione S-transferases transcripts were screened base on transcriptome annotation result of three different Bactrocera dorsalis insecticide resistance strains(susceptible strain, trichlorphon strain and beta-cypermethrin).The evolution relationship of these GST genes was constructed by Neighbor-Joining phylogeny tree using MEGA 6.0.About 13 putative GST genes related to resistance mechanism were identified by KEGG pathway and Gene Onthology analysis.Compared with susceptible strain, the expression of these GST genes separately in the whole developmental duration including egg, larva, pupa and adult were different. In trichlorphon strain,GST1,3/4,5,6,7,9,14 showed a higher expression than susceptible stain. While in beta-cypermethrin strain,GST1,2,3/4,5,6,7,9,15 were up-regulated.Hence we determined initially these 13 GST gene might be play a key role in Bactrocera dorsalis insecticide resistance.
