33-kDa isoform ofANXA3 (33-kDa) is originated by an alternative splicing of exon Ⅲ.ANXA3 plays important roles in tumor development and progression,metastasis and chemoresistance.Previous studies concentrated on entire ANXA3 or ANXA3 36-kDa.The role of ANXA3 33-kDa in tumors is poorly understood.In current work,we investigated the functions and underlying mechanism of 33-kDa on the tumorigenesis and chemoresistance in HepG2 cells as well as its clinical association for hepatocarcinoma patients.
