The lung cancer is one of the most common malignant tumors, its morbidity appears the trend of young age.Because the anti-tumor medicine has serious toxic and side-effect and brings forth the drug resistance easily, so the clinical of anti-tumor medicine is ont very good.Prunella Vulgaris L.an important Traditional Chinese Medicine, has been proved with various biological activities, while its mechanism remains unclear.Proteomics has been proved as a revolutionized tool in analysis of complex samples like Traditional Chinese Medicine extract.In this study, we employed twodimensional electrophoresis, mass spectrograph and computer assisted image analysis to examine expression changes on a proteomic level in lung adenocarcinoma A549 cell treated with Prunella Vulgaris L.extract.By comparing and analyzing these differences, we suggested the optimal dosage and anti-cancer mechanism of Prunella Vulgaris L.as anti-cancer drug and its mechanism on proteomic level.
