　　A rough-cut cyclone or primary cyclone, installed in the FCC riser terminal, operates in a mode different from common cyclones, with its vortex tube and dipleg outlets opened to the same pressure vessel-disengager.It is a vital element in disengager, being responsible for fast separating catalysts from the oil vapor just cracked in the riser, and for achieving a shorter vapor residence time in disengager.
