  Oil well cement plays a key role in ensuring the quality of cementing.The discussion concentrates on the research, production, and the establishment and development of technological standard of oil well cement in China.China Building Material Academy began the research of oil well cement form 1950s, and established the first National Standard of oil well cement in 1963.Then developed all the nine classes oil well cement conforms to the requirements of API 10 in 80s, and turned into industrial production in cement enterprises, and be used in national oil field cementing engineering.After decades development, not only the research, production and standard of China are in accordance with international advance level, especially the research of oil well cement to ensuring all kinds well cementation under complicated geological condition.
