计算机是高精密设备,档次越高,对外部环境条件要求越高。过去修建的单机机房普遍不能适应发展的需要,如何扩建和新建符合计算机技术要求的多用户网络中心机房,为计算机创造一个安全可靠的运行环境,保证计算机系统的正常工作,是搞好计算机工作的基础。一、机房总体设计计算机和机房位置不宜选在底层及高层,以2～4层为宜。同时要求有足够的空间,除了设备本身占据的空间外,还必须有足够的操作和维护空间,一般机房面积为设备面积的5～7倍,机房操作人员办公场地每人应大于1.5m~2,在设计机房面积时,除了考虑现有设备占地和保证操作维护方便外,还应考虑将来的发展。机房位置确定之后,可进一步按不同计算机设备的技术指标,对机房内各种机柜安装位置、地面、墙面、顶棚、窗门、隔断、照明等进行布局,原则是便于操作、布线简短、防止干扰、装饰美观、保证荷重、符合技术要求。
