Aggregates formed from chiral building block or from achiral building block in the presence of a chiral template can be chiral too.One important issue is then the so-called supramolecular chirality of the aggregates and its relationship with the molecular chirality of the chiral building block or of the chiral template.An interesting observation is the chiral amplification with the aggregates whose CD signal shows a nonlinear relationship with the enantiometric excess (ee) of the chiral building block or chiral template.
