Aims: The aim is to study the bioequivalence of atorvastatin calcium dispersible tablets in human volunteers.Methods: A simple and rapid LC-ESI-MS/MS methods were developed for the simultaneous determination of Atorvastatin and its metabolites ortho-Hydroxy Atorvastatin in human plasma following administration of a single oral dose of 20mg test dispersible tablets or reference tablets was given to 50 male healthy volunteers either after an overnight fast or after a breakfast in a randomized cross-over design.
