The development of precision agriculture has higher and higher request for the intelligence of agricultural equipment.Especially in precisely variable rate fertilization, a key operation link of precision agriculture is able to precisely conduct variable rate fertilization,according to fertilizer requirement of crop, which makes the yield maximized in prior to reducing the total amount of fertilizer.The paper summarizes scholars research findings at home and abroad in variable rate fertilization, including control modes of variable rate fertilization, the realization way of fertilization link and the executive mechanism of variable rate fertilization.The main control modes have single chip microcomputer control, CAN bus control, PID control algorithm,the spectra of real time monitoring and control and so on.On the basis of concluding previous research achievements and experience, the paper summarizes the characteristics of the current development of domestic variable rate fertilization, proposing present problems.
