Compared with the conventionally grain-sized materials with the same composition, the nanostructured and ultrafine grained materials possess much higher strength but lower ductility.Some approaches were presented to optimize the mechanical properties of nanostructured and ultrafine grained 1100/7075 laminated metal composites (LMCs), which is fabricated by hot accumulative roll bonding (ARB).The 1280 layered LMCs is consisting of good ductility pure Al (1100) and poor ductility Al alloy (7075).
