Objective Mycoplasma pneumoniae, as a frequent cause of community-acquired respiratory infection in children and adolescents, can cause serious pneumonia and extrapulmonary complications.Although the pathogenesis of M.pneumoniae infection has been studied extensively, the molecular mechanisms underlying M.pneumoniae pathogenesis are still not fully understood. Therefore, in the present study, in order to seek some pathogenesis-related proteins, we have investigated the effects of M.pneumoniae infection on the intracellular protein expression profile ofA549 human lung carcinoma cells. Methods A549 cells are infected by 10 CFU/cell M.pneumoniae for different time interval (2h, 8h and 24h, respectively).
