　　Liquid crystal (LC) devices for Terahertz (THz) applications have raised growing interests.Herein tunable passive components including a quarter wave plate and a filter have been proposed and achieved by employing functional microstructures as well as large birefringent LC materials.Effective modulation of THz signals have been realized.
