　　Bimodal sized (Nano-SiCp: n and Micro-SiCp: m) SiCp/Al2014 composites with different volume percent of particles (0.5n + 4m, 0.5n + 6m, 1n + 4m) were fabricated by semi-solid stirring combined with hot extrusion.The results show that the bimodal sized SiC particles led to significant grain refinement of the matrix, and the average grain size of 0.5n + 6m SiCp/Al2014 composites was the smallest in the three composites.
