　　Many applications,in particular ones from control,lead to Talternating(i.e.,symmetric/skew-symmetric)matrix pencils and important characteristics can be read off from the canonical form of this pencil.In this talk,we will discuss how the canonical form is altered when a T-alternating regular matrix pencil is subjected to a low-rank perturbation.
