Coal mining like one-time mining across a thick coal seam can lead to the complex movement and deformation of rock around goaf,following by gradual stabilization process of the overlying rock mass,and according to the extent of damage,it can be divided into three different zones,namely carving zone,fractured zone,and bending deformation zone.he overlying strata fracture,collapse,water flowing fractured hyperplasia and land subsidence play very important role in the security problem.Converted S-wave reflection survey and EH-4 method can solve the problem of development degree of the “three zones” fractures and the Fracture distribution.Drilling inspection yielded good result ue to the comprehensive method detection and localization,and can describe the safety situation of overburden rock.
