An amperometric glucose biosensor was fabricated by integrating glucose oxidase (GOx) with novel chitosan(CH)-Nb0.95Ti0.95O4 nanocomposite onto indium-tin-oxide (ITO) coated glass plate.The results reveal the presence of Nb0.95Ti0.95O4 in CH-Nb0.95Ti0.95O4 nano-composite film can enhance increase electroactive surface area and electron transfer between GOx and ITO electrode.The observed results show promising application of the CH-Nb0.95Ti0.95O4 thin film which combines the advantageous features of nanoparticles (Nb0.95Ti0.95O4) and biopolymer (CH) for glucose biosensor.
