  In the last decades, the development of metal colloids has concentrated many efforts, by considering their direct catalytic or biological applications in aqueous media and the environmental effects with no use of the organic solvents[1].Meanwhile, our group recently discovered that glow discharge plasma could be developed as a novel reduction mute for the preparation of heterogeneous catalysts and synthesis of nanostructured materials[2, 3].In this work, we extended the glow discharge plasma reduction for the synthesis of Au colloids.
