PbSe is an excellent thermoelectric material with widespread potential applications in power generation.Our experimental investigation shows that the PbSe-SrSe system can form an infinite solid solution.The thermal conductivity of the solid solution decreases dramatically due to the alloy effect,and the dimensionless figure of merit (ZT) of Pb0.98-xSrxNa0.02Se increases with the content of Sr.A maximum ZT value of 0.7 is achieved for the sample of Pb0.98-xSrxNa0.02Se with x =0.06.
