Natural fiber reinforced composites were prepared from unsaturated polyester and recycled coffee bag (jute woven cloth) by hand lay-up molding method.The physic-mechanical and morphological properties of the composites were investigated under the different absorbed water content of jute woven cloth.It is found that the higher moduli of composites were obtained by the adding of jute compared to the neat resin based on the results of tensile, flexure and Izod impact testes with notch.The fracture mechanism were discussed based on SEM observation.
