Mn-Zn ferrite nanoparticles were prepared by a template-assisted sol-gel method and calcined in different atmospheres at different temperatures.The effects of calcined atmosphere and calcined temperature on composition, morphology and magnetic properties of Mn-Zn ferrites were investigated by XRD, IR, VSM, TEM.The samples calcined in nitrogen after precalcination showed pure spinel Mn0.5Zn0.5Fe2O4 phase and better magnetic properties compared with that calcined in air or nitrogen.Moreover, Curie temperature, high temperature magnetic properties and dielectric properties of samples calcined in nitrogen after precalcination were studied.
