　　Fatal cases with a thyroid disease are rare.However, when such cases also have a severe heart disease which requires for heart transplantation, thyrotoxicosis could induce fatal arrhythmia such as ventral tachycardia (VT) and thus require emergency normalization of thyroid function to improve vital prognosis.
